Why Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Aerospace) at BSMRAAU?

In the context of today’s engineering needs, aerospace engineering has emerged as one of the most challenging and exciting technical fields in terms of science, technology, and business to fly within the atmosphere of the earth and surrounding space. Therefore, the necessity of a specialized university is felt by the government of Bangladesh which came into reality in 2019, and the aerospace engineering department is one of the first pioneering departments of the university.  The major aim of the department is to solve the future challenges of aerospace engineering to design more aerodynamically efficient, structurally lightweight, and carbon emission-less aero vehicles which will keep our environment safe and ease our daily travels with reduced cost. Moreover, the challenge to go beyond space is another primary concern of the department which will shape future space communication in the context of rocketry and space vehicle design. In a nutshell, the department is committed to preparing the best mind and qualified students in the nation to meet the national and global aerospace talent shortage.
