Air Vice Marshal A S M Fakhrul Islam, Vice Chancellor of BSMRAAU called on Honourable President and Chancellor of BSMRAAU Md. Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on 27 December, 2022.

The President congratulated Air Vice Marshal A S M Fakhrul Islam  on his appointment as Vice Chancellor, BSMRAAU of the first Public University of Bangladesh for Aviation and Aerospace studies. He also wished him success in his new assignment. During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor sought the Chancellors guidance and cooperation in discharging his duties. He briefly explained the overall activities including infrastructural development of new campus at Lalmonirhat. He also expressed his view to turn this university as “Centre of Excellence” by imparting world class education.

The Chancellor in his directives stressed the need of formulating time-befitting curriculum at every university of the country coping with the world competition. He directed to intensify research activities. He also directed to coordinate with the UGC and Ministry of Education to get the establishment and required faculty to create skill manpower for the very needed in Aviation Sector of Bangladesh and also in South Asia.

President’s Military Secretary Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, Secretary Sampad Barua, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin and Secretary (Attachment) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were present during the call on.
